Shredding Saber is a Melee Weapon in Hellpoint. Melee Weapons are used to deal damage to Enemies and Bosses in close combat. Melee Weapons have different attack values and unique abilities, making them more or less effective, depending on the enemy or situation.
An intimidating blade composed of many sharp spikes of metallic glass. It could be interpreted as the result of a failed experiment.
The weapon inspires a furious fighting style and pulls the wielder into a deadly dance.
Where / How to acquire Shredding Saber
- Can be crafted using the following materials:
- 750 x Inselium Particles
- 1 x Wasteland Saber
- 3 x Material: Alumina
- 1x Model: Warrior Saber
Shredding Saber - Weapon Abilities
Conductor Effect: Equip a Conductor to increase potential.
Reflex Handling: Better usage of Reflexes.
Weapon Connection: The weapon is less prone to be deflected by shields
Spin Dodge: Lethal dodging method.
Damage Handling: Better able to mitigate damage.
Damage Influx: Improved fighting skills deal more damage.
Saber Potencial: Increases the reach and power of the weapon.
Shredding Saber - Notes & Tips
- Same moveset as the Red Saber, but slower ; however, its running attack is similar to that of the Officer Glaive.
- It is a saber type weapon, characterized by its quick and commited attacks, covering circles around the player. It is useful against single enemies and hordes, but it has no cancellable animations, making it a high risk / high reward weapon.

Its blueprint is located in a small room on an alter, if I remember correctly, in the boss room where you defeat the two Arisen, looking toward the pit of multiple goons in the red giant room, so the rail car is behind you, head through the hallway on the left. It’s within one of the nooks, left of the boss room.
I need alumina to upgrade the saber. Does anyone know where to find alumina crafting material?
This, all 3 officer glaives, thespian hooks and the wasteland saber all share a unique extra attack that only occurs when you have nothing equipped in your off hand. If you press the button (LB) as if to block or use your left hand weapon it will do an over the head downward slicing move. A few other weapons have something similar while most have some sort of kick or shove. Other unique LB moves I've found are from the hatchet which does a left shoulder short charge, and the heater spear which does a quick jab.
