Stats for Hellpoint covers the different attributes and stats of the Playable Character. Attributes are increased by leveling up your character and spending points into them. Each level will provide them with one Attribute point. See each individual Attribute page for more information on how they improve your character.
Melee Weapons can provide the following Stats: Requirements, Bonus, Power, Tenacity (Stat), Leech, Weight and Damage. You can see each individual page for more information.
Most Weapons require a determined amount of Attributes in order to be used effectively.
Stats have diminishing returns, so its best to distribute your attributes as you level up.
As of the release of the Blue Sun DLC, players can now respec their stats via the Respecify Stat Points feature.
Attributes increase the performance of the Player Character and improve other Stats. Most Weapons require a certain amount of Attributes to be used. If Players don't meet the Attributes requirements, they will still be able to be use the Weapon but will have a big penalty. Attributes can be improved by spending points when leveling up.
Determines your total Health.
A resource used by Firearms, Catalysts, the Omnicube, and Weapon Abilities. Replenished by dealing damage.
A resource consumed when attacking, sprinting, jumping, or dodging. Regenerates automatically over time when not used.
Determines the maximum weight that can be carried before you become over-encumbered.
Increases damage dealt with heavy weapons. It is also a requirement for certain pieces of equipment.
Increases damage dealt with fast weapons. It is also a requirement for certain pieces of equipment.
Increases damage dealt with firearms. It is also a requirement for certain pieces of equipment.
General Stats provide useful information on the current state of the player character.
Displays your current and Max Health Points.
Displays your current and Max Energy Points.
Displays your current and Max Stamina Points.
Displays your current Level.
Displays the amount of Axions needed to advance to the next level.
Displays your current mobility. Lower mobility will result in slower actions.
Weapons and Armor Stats
Weapons and Armor Stats provide useful information about the benefits provided by the equipment.
The minimum stat value required to properly use a piece of equipment. If the requirements aren't met, the item is much less effective.
A stat bonus that applies to a piece of equipment, in percentage.
The traveling speed of a fired projectile
Weight adds up against the Load stat to determine the degree to which your movement is impeded.
The base damage and damage type inflicted by the weapon.
The energy consumed when firing a projectile.
The maximum range of a projectile.
How likely it is to be deflected by a shield
Tenacity (Melee Weapons)
How much it unbalances a foe on impact.
The value converted to Energy and Healing when dealing melee damage
The shield's ability to deflect heavy weapon attacks.
The rate at which Stamina regenerates while blocking.
The percentage of damage blocked by the shield. It can vary depending on the type of damage taken.
Determines how much damage can be taken without being interrupted.
Offensive Stats provide useful information on the current offensive stats of the player character.
Defensive Stats provide useful information on the current defensive stats of the player character.
Does the attribute bonus (Strength, Reflex, Cognition, Foresight) actually add that percentage to the character stat? I don't see it added to the stat values listed on the character page, nor can I see that it affects any other numbers.
Are there soft/hard caps
