Builds for Hellpoint are an arrangement of a characters' Stats and Equipment that define a specific set of playstyle or highlight a certain natural strength of character. Builds are created by users and as such their performance is varied, and should not be taken as a requirement or objective of the game.
Tips for creating a build:
- Understand the Combat mechanics, and what Stats do
- Read through the Weapons, Shields and Weapon Abilities find the ones you'll want to equip
- Weapons scale with your Stats and Armor and Shields will only be effective if you reach the requirements. Keep that in mind while creating your build.
- Remember that you are free to combine Ranged and Melee Weapons creating a wide variety of builds.
- Accessories are a great way to improve your Stats.
- Upgrade Chips scale with your Stats greatly increasing your damage.
- As of the release of the Blue Sun DLC, you can now respec your stats.in order to change your build without needing to make a brand new character.
Hellpoint Builds
Elemental Prophet
Introduction
This build is based on the three Prophet Hands that exist in the game: the Nihl Prophet Hand, the White Prophet Hand and the Amber Prophet Hand. Each of them deals a different type of elemental damage, and can be used for both short and long reach encounters. For this build we will be using them as short ranged AoE weapons.
The idea with this build is to use your Prophet Hands as short-range Weapons to deal with multiple enemies at the same time by using the Cluster Ability of the Hands. The Cluster Ability of the Prophet Hands release a bunch of small elemental balls that explode after a short time dealing AoE elemental damage. Using two hands at the same time, you'll be able to deploy twice as many bombs dealing massive elemental damage. You can also use the short range burst to deal with individual enemies or the Beams to keep a safe distance if you are low on health.
We will be investing into Reflex to use light armor and maximize mobility, but you can also use Strength to create a Short range tank. You can swap between the second slot Hands to deal with different resistance type enemies.
NOTE: This build uses the same equipment and Stats as the Boss Melter Build, so you can swap between them very fast
Equipment
- Main Hand: White Prophet Hand and Red Saber
For your main hand you'll want to use your favorite type of hand (I'm using the White Prophet Hand as its good against most Enemies) and something with high leech to quickly restore your energy to keep spamming your Prophet Hand abilities. For this build we will be investing into Reflex, so the Red Saber is a great option, but you can use any weapon with high Leech and high attack speed. Make sure to prioritize attack speed as you only want to recover your energy as quick as possible. If you are using a Strength build, you can opt for a Strength based weapon such as Nemundis Oculus.
- Second Hand: Nihl Prophet Hand, and Amber Prophet Hand
On your second Hand you'll want to have the other Two Prophet Hands to be able to quickly swap between them.
You'll want all your Hands equipped with Catalyst Conductors to increase their damage based on your Foresight.
The Conjuring Optimizer is a must for this build as it reduces the amount of Energy required to perform our Prophet Hand Abilities
The Leech Enhancer allows you to quickly restore your Energy as well as recovering your Healing Method.
The Athletic Nerve Suit is very light, allowing you to quickly mover over the Battlefield and the station. It also provides a good amount of Elemental Resistance. If you are using a Strength build to create a short range tank, you should opt for the Aegis Armature Set or the Sentinel Set
Stats
- Health: 31 ~ 39 (To max out your health)
- Stamina: 15 ~ 20 (Just enough to use your weapon and replenish your Energy)
- Energy: 31 ~ 39
- Load: 10 ~ 12 (Enough to use your equipment)
- Strength: N/A (Just enough to use your equipment)
- Reflex: 18 ~ 22
- Cognition: N/A (Not used on this build)
- Foresight: 30 ~ 50 (Due to diminishing returns, you can keep adding points here or spend more on Stamina, Health and Energy for survivability)
Note that in the very late game Stamina becomes more important than Health, since survivability depends on dodge and positioning more than Health, but I decided to focus on Health for a more casual use.
Boss Melter
Introduction
This build uses the final ability of the Catalyst Staffs: the Channeler of Hell, Channeler of Light and the Etek Aveos to annihilate bosses in a matter of seconds. The Way of Element ability creates a line of approximately 15 light pillars that burst from the ground; very little space between each pillar. The line will shoot in a straight direction from the caster causing massive damage over time. Most bosses are big and slow, so they are specially affected by this ability.
NOTE: This build uses the same equipment and Stats as the Elemental Prophet build, so you can swap between them very fast

- Second Hand: Channeler of Hell, Channeler of Light and Etek Aveos
For the second Hand you'll want to equip one staff on each slot. This allows you to swap between them depending on the type of Boss or Enemy you are facing.
You'll want all your Staffs equipped with Catalyst Conductors to increase their damage based on your Foresight.
The Conjuring Optimizer is a must for this build as it reduces the amount of Energy required to perform your Abilities

Heavy Aegis
Introduction
This is a tank build focused on survivability and melee fights. For this build we will be using the Light Striker as our main weapon and for our defense we will be using the Aegis Armature Set and a Shield.
The Aegis Armature Set provides a lot of defense allowing us to safely combat enemies at close range without having to worry about dodge that much. We will use the Dark Disciple Shield to prevent the damage dealt special Boss Attacks.
This build is meant for early or mid game and is not advised for advanced New Game+ stances, because the amount of health and armor won't stand against the scaling.
Equipment
- Main Hand: Light Striker
We will be using the Light Striker as our main weapon. It deals the highest DPS amongst all melee weapons so it's our best choice for a melee build.
- Second Hand: Dark Disciple Shield and a Ranged Gun
Even though our defense is very high due to the Aegis Armature Set, we will be using the Dark Disciple Shield to defend ourselves against special boss attacks. The Dark Disciple Shield is light allowing you to compensate for the weight of your armor.
We will be maxing Strength for this build, so place a Strength Melee Conductor inside of your Light Striker to maximize damage.
These Mind Modules can help you to further increase your elemental defense reducing incoming damage even more
The Leech Enhancer allows you to quickly restore your Energy as well as recovering your Healing Method.
The Aegis Armature Set provides a lot of physical and elemental defense at the expense of weight. We will be fighting face to face against the enemy, so we want as much defense as possible.

Stun Lock
Introduction
This build uses a combination between Melee and Ranged attacks. For the melee attacks we will be using the Light Striker, which can deal massive damage and quickly restore our energy and healing methods. To deal with annoying and more difficult enemies we will also be using the Rail Gun or the Entropic Railgun. I like the Entropic Railgun better, as it can freeze enemies slowing their movements and attacks. Both Railguns can
Equipment
- Main Hand: Light Striker
The Light Saber is a very balanced weapon that allows you to deal high melee damage.
- Second Hand: Rail Gun or Entropic Railgun
The Rail gun will allow us to attack from range and stun lock enemies. The Entropic Railgun also freeze enemies slowing their movement and attacks
- Upgrade Chips: Firearm Conductor for your Gun and Reflex Melee Conductor for your Weapon
The Reflex Melee Conductor is a great option to increase the damage of your melee weapon based on Reflex.
The Cognition Module increase the amount of Cognition you have which is key for this build.
Stats
- Health: 31 ~ 39
- Stamina: 20 ~ 30
- Energy: 20 ~ 30
- Load: 15 ~ 20 (Enough for your equipment)
- Strength: 10 (Enough for the Light Striker)
- Reflex: 25~ 30
- Cognition: 30 ~ 40
- Foresight: 10 (Enough for the Light Striker)

Easy mode - Entropic Railgun with grenades, Thespian Hook (Mastered).
The only weapon stronger than the Thespian hook is the Light Striker which drops off the True final boss.... and difference is 29 energy damage between the two.

Leech build= leech module and any weapon with high leech base stat.
Hedron of Light with +10 Catalyst Conductor - Red Saber with +10 Reflex Melee Conductor. The Red Saber has good leech and the Hedron of Light sips at your energy. I can kill some bosses with the Hedron of Light alone. Once you go out of energy just dash in a get a R2 off with the Red Saber '' which will hit twice'' untill you get your energy back. This build is freaking op as hell...
