Disciple Ferula is a Melee Weapon in Hellpoint. Melee Weapons are used to deal damage to Enemies and Bosses in close combat. Melee Weapons have different attack values and unique abilities, making them more or less effective, depending on the enemy or situation.

The tool of the One Eye, publicly brandished as a symbol of orthodoxy.

Swings heavily, but requires both strength and stamina.

Where / How to acquire the Disciple Ferula

  • 1x can be found in the Ikari Walkways area, past the Artillery boss room.
    • Go up the only staircase you can see to the side of this very room.
    • From there, there's only one path allowing you to progress forward (Turn right ; right ahead ; turn right ; right ahead ; turn left ; up a short set of stairs ; right ahead ; turn left).
    • You'll arrive in a new room, with another staircase right ahead : go up one set of stairs, and the weapon you're looking for can be looted from a corpse, alongside the whole Disciple Armor Set.

  • 1x can be found in the Arisen Dominion area.
    • (The following instructions assume that you haven't yet activated the great elevator.)
    • Starting from the Arisen Dominion - Grand Gallery breach : when facing both the breach, and the nearby square hole, go around the hole, on whichever side you prefer.
    • From there, just follow the passageway (with two series of three benches on each side), and head in the direction of the great doorway that you can see in the distance.
    • Once you've passed this doorway, you'll see a much smaller doorway, with light blue lighting, forward, and to the left.
    • Past the threshold of this second doorway, there's only one possible path for quite a while, until you reach a crossroad : on your left, there's a great door, with a blue "doorknob" just next to it ; and right ahead, you'll arrive in what must be the "Sun Worship Chamber", mentioned in the description of the Sun Hall Access (If a giant, blue, luminous sphere floating in the middle of a vast open space isn't a Sun Worship Chamber, I don't know what is...).
    • Go straight ahead, and as you emerge from the large passageway, into the vast open space, turn right ; then, go hug the wall located to your right, and continue forward, until you reach a first doorway.
    • Pass the threshold, turn left, and go up the stairs, all the way to the top.
    • Once you're up there, go forward, and pass the doorway ; then, continue straight ahead, until you reach the edge of the platform.
    • Take as much momentum as you can, because you're going to need it ; and make a running jump, in order to cross the large gap, and reach the other platform (Use the gold plated structural elements that serve as the corners of these platforms to increase the length of your "runway", even by a little bit).
    • If all goes well, you should be able to just barely make it ; from there, head toward the doorway with the light blue lighting, forward, and to the left.
    • Enter the room, in which you'll find 1x Material: Beating Heart, sitting on a pedestal, against the wall to your left ; and an Occult Conjuring Table, right ahead of you.
    • Exit the room by going through the other doorway ; from there, go straight ahead, until you arrive at a crossroad, with a path going forward, and a path going to the left.
    • Continue to go forward for a while, until you reach the middle of the slightly raised platform, lit by two luminous triangles.
    • From this point, turn right, and go straight ahead, until you reach the (almost) exact symetrical equivalent of this platform, located on the opposite side of this vast open space.
    • On this second platform, you'll find 1x Disciple Ferula, sitting on a pedestal, against the wall, right ahead of you.

Disciple Ferula - Notes & Tips

  • Consumes roughly 30 stamina points per swing,
  • The running fast attack hits up to 5 times when all hits connect ; not to be confused with the running strong attack, which is not nearly as good.
  • It is a staff type weapon, characterized by its moderate damage output, but high stagger potential. It has a unique dash attack that deals heavy multi hit damage.

I found this weapon in Ikari Walkways.
Exit the artillery boss room from the upper floor of the roor and turn left. You'll reach a room with a few "victim" enemies, go up the stairs and the ferula will be near a corpse in the corner, along with the disciple armor set.

An Amazing weapon over all. Mix this with high upgraded level and the Axion Condenser and you got a nice solid weapon. It's run attack spins and hits a number of times with a stun lock effect on most smaller enemies and also since it hits multiple times it builds energy and healing rather quickly. Then the AOE attack, My lord, this AOE is great and has a far better range then it appears that does high damage AND can knock down many enemies. If you want a reflex build, go for this weapon.
