Winged Halberd is a Melee Weapon in Hellpoint. Name is used to deal damage to Enemies and Bosses from a close distance. Melee Weapons have different attack values and unique abilities making them more or less effective depending on the enemy or situation. It is a spear type weapon, characterized for its quick and long ranged forward thrust attacks, useful against single targets and for keeping distance while leeching energy and healing points. Its second heavy attack it's an AOE swing with high knockback potential.
A strange, elaborate weapon from the Western Quadrant. Their humming chant comes to mind...The weapon requires strength to use, but can be swung precisely from above or in wide arcs.

Winged Halberd Notes and Tips
- Despite the name and description, the move set and speed are much closer to the spears than to the halberds.

This weapon is a reference (both visually and thematically) to the halberds used by the Winkie Guards in The Wizard of Oz. The item description mentions the "Western" quadrant (i.e. the Witch of the West) and the "...strange chant" - a reference to their famous marching song: https://youtu.be/nx8-J66yawM?t=29

A good weapon, respectable damage, excellent reach, fast and relatively low stamina use. Slightly more damage than the excellent Archon Spear but less able to knock enemies down (tougher enemies need a running jumping light attack whereas a simple light then heavy from the archon spear would floor them). A reasonable option for a quality build, and not terrible for putting a light or induction conductor on. The throw is slightly better than the archon's due to the higher damage, the spear rain isn't bad but can be relatively easily avoided by enemies.
