Rail Poignard is a Melee Weapon in Hellpoint. Rail Poignard is used to deal damage to Enemies and Bosses from a close distance. Melee Weapons have different attack values and unique abilities, making them more or less effective, depending on the enemy or situation.
A fantasy weapon forged by an eccentric old weapon printer saddened by the looming obsolescence of his trade.
Very fast to swing, slashing wildly before inflicting deadly backhand stabs.
Rail Poignard - Locations
- 1x can be found in the Ikari Walkways area.
- From the Ikari Walkways - Crashed Tram breach, turn towards the adjacent crashed tram, and go inside.
- From there, you can see a set of stairs in the distance, after a pile of crates, and a pile of rubble. Go up the stairs.
- Cross the bridge, and go down the stairs.
- Don't go straight ahead, but turn around, and head inside the building.
- Up some stairs, this is where you'll find the Artillery boss fight.
- Don't enter this room ; instead, continue to climb the stairs.
- You'll arrive at a tram ; you'll need to do a running jump in order to reach an other tram, across a small gap (Quite an infuriating jump, because the upper part of your character model can easily hit the doorframes, causing you to fall to your death...).
- Once you've managed to get there, there's only really one possible path : down some stairs ; inside a big hall ; up some stairs ; turn right ; turn right ; re enter the building : and there it is, finally.
- 1x can be found in the Arcology Underside area (Central Mall subsection).
- Starting from the Arcology Underside - Central Mall breach ; when facing the breach, and having the door leading to the Alma Mater Atrium plaza at your back ; right in front of you, there's a doorway : ignore it for now.
- Instead, head toward the passageway you can already see from here, forward, and to the right.
- After exchanging some pleasantries with the welcoming committee of x1 Sentinel, you can break some crates that are in the way, and grab 1x Inselium Rod, and 1x Coin.
- From there, ignore the path that goes to the right ; and instead, go straight ahead.
- As soon as you exit the passageway, turn left : you'll see that a substantial portion of the floor is destroyed, or partially missing, creating some sort of niche.
- This is where you'll find 1x Rail Poignard, lying on the floor, and relatively hidden from sight.
Rail Poignard - Abilities
Conductor Effect: Equip a Conductor to increase potential.
Cognition Handling: Increases Cognition capabilities.
Stamina Handling:Handle the weapon with less Stamina.
Swift Scape: Lethal dodging method.
Tenacity Handling: Improved ability to stagger enemies.
Damage Influx: Improved fighting skills deal more damage.
Fury: A berserk attack against unfortunate victims.
Rail Poignard - Notes & Tips
- It is a knife type weapon, characterized by its very quick swings, which always come in 2 hits per input ; and by its high backstab damage. This weapon is useful against single enemies, and has an incredibly high ambush potential.

This can be found in Ikari Walkways - Crashed Tram Breach. When you leave the East Square Breach, cross the bridge with the demon, go downstairs and follow the long path, not the short one that there's a demon walking by a door. The long path takes you to a door that's looks like there's a boss fight, don't go in yet, instead, go up the stairs. There's some trash mobs here and a tram with an open door, run and jump to the other tram on the other building, fight the two demons, go downstairs and it'll be a big hall with two demons at the right side, go left, up the stairs, kill the demons and the trash mob, and you'll see the weapon at an altar as soon as you enter the room.
