Lava Daemon is an Enemy in Hellpoint. Players can confront Enemies to obtain Axions and loot, and to acquire experience to unlock Weapon Abilities. Please note that Lava Daemon is not the official name, and is listed as such for the community to discover and record each enemy type.

Lava Daemon - Enemy Description

• These enemies are vaguely humanoid in their general appearance ; they are the tallest among the "common" mobs you'll encounter in the game.
• Their legs end with hooves ; they only have one eye, which has an orange glow ;  and their toothing has a very creepy rest position, akin to that of the Joker (in the comic books / animated versions).
• Apart from what seems to be a ritual ornament in their back, they only wear a Daemon Robe, and wield a Daemon Scythe.
• Once you have accepted the quest given by Undisturbed Defas Nemundis, these are the enemies that will drop the x10 Fragment of a Daemon required to complete the task.

Lava Daemon - Combat Information

• They have a large health pool and deal high damage, but lack mobility. They can use the scythe to perform a powerful induction AoE attack. Try to bait his attacks and strike back. Use the channeling time of his ability to attack him.
• Weak to Nihl and Entropy, resistant to Induction.

Lava Daemon - Locations

• Embassy
  • 1x Lava Daemon can be found not far from the Embassy - Pond breach, specifically during Hell Hour / the Accretion Storms.

• Arcology
  • 1x Lava Daemon can be found in the courtyard, outside of the Celestial Workshop.
  • 1x Lava Daemon can be found inside of the Celestial Workshop building.

• Sohn District
  • 2x Lava Daemons can be found not far from the Sohn District - Corpse Pit breach, patrolling around the Ministry building.
  • 1x Lava Daemon can be found not far from the Sohn District - Corpse Pit breach, inside the Ministry building.
  • 1x Lava Daemon can be found on the roof of a building, near the Sohn District - Balcony breach.
  • 1x Lava Daemon can be found not far from the largest of the two Black Hole Doors in Sohn District, in a relatively isolated room, that you can only reach via a series of staircases.
  • 1x Lava Daemon appears at the very end of the Horde Event taking place during Hell Hour, not far from the Sohn District - Corpse Pit breach.
  • 2x Lava Daemons can be found in the Sohn District area, not far from the Tram leading to the Port Issoudun area, and just next to a door leading to the Arcology area.
  • 2x Lava Daemons can be found in the Bowels subsection of the Sohn District area, that you can only access by following the Architect's questline.

• Ikari Walkways
  • Several Lava Daemons can be found throughout the Ikari Walkways area.
  • 1x Lava Daemon appears at the very end of the Horde Event taking place during Hell Hour, not far from the Ikari Walkways - Crashed Tram breach.

• Alma Mater Atrium
  • 1x Lava Daemon can be found between the Alma Mater Atrium - Union Park breach, and the Alma Mater Atrium - Otsego Mansion breach.
  • 2x Lava Daemons can be found not far from the Alma Mater Atrium - Union Park breach, at the end of the whole "appartments" subsection, and before the elevator / lift leading to the Alma Mater Atrium - Tenements breach.
  • 1x Lava Daemon appears at the very end of the Horde Event taking place during Hell Hour, just next to the Alma Mater Atrium - Union Park breach.
  • 1x Lava Daemon can be found just next to the Alma Mater Atrium - Tenements breach.

• Arcology Underside
  • 1x Lava Daemon can be found, not far from the Arcology Underside - Central Mall breach.

• (Port Issodun)
  • You can find an Alpha version of the "common" Lava Daemon, in the Port Issoudun area, patrolling at the Vault Door, not far from the Port Issoudun - Silos breach.
  • The first time you defeat it, the message "Alpha defeated" appears, and you gain +0,67% Data.
  • Whenever you defeat it, it yields an amount of 2666 Axions (NG - Standard difficulty).
  • This value is increased to 3065 Axions during Black Hole Hour (NG - Standard difficulty).
  • It seems like it also always drops 60x Nihl Shards (!?! To put things into perspective : in the different Underworld sections, you can collect these resources, one shard at a time....).

Lava Daemon - Drops

• Whenever you defeat a Lava Daemon, it yields an amount of 866 Axions (NG - Standard difficulty).
• This value is increased to 995 Axions during Black Hole Hour (NG - Standard difficulty).
  
• Lava Daemon will also sometimes drop : Axions (555).
  
• With the appropriate quest, Fragment of a Daemon becomes a guaranteed drop for each Lava Daemon you slay.
