Archon Greatsword is a Melee Weapon in Hellpoint: Blue Sun DLC. Archon Greatsword is used to deal damage to Enemies and Bosses from a close distance. Melee Weapons have different attack values and unique abilities making them more or less effective depending on the enemy or situation.

  7. Cosmic Smash: Summon strength to perform the most powerful attack

 

 

Archon Greatsword Notes and Tips

  • Has the same move set as the Remnant Greatsword. Also two-handable.
  • The two-handed heavy strike is a leaping-downward swing. DO NOT USE NEXT TO LEDGES!!!
  • The off-hand button when two-handing is a thrust. Comes out fast and reliable. One-handing turns into a kick.
  • The two weapon skills have an elemental effect (Nihl or Entropy?).
  • Archonic Eruption lasts about ~10 seconds and can be destroyed by enemy attacks (Imagine spawning a turret). Projectiles have a slow travel time.
  • Cosmic Smash has a ~2 second wind up before performing the move leaving you very vulnerable. It is highly advised to predict enemy movement to utilize fully.

      Probably the best strength weapon ingame. Looks stunning, high damage, great skills, and the stabs come out very fast. Better if paired with the module that increases weapons attack speed, but the enhanced leech is just too godd to pass on.

        This would have to be one of the stupidest things I can remember a game implementing. Well done to anyone who happened to kill them in the correct order the first time they came through this area.
